My Most Anticipated Games for 2017

It’s already March, This year is flying by. I thought it would be a good time to discuss my most anticipated games for the remainder of 2017.

Now please excuse the absence of Horizon: Zero Dawn and Zelda: Breath of the Wind, both games would have made it onto this list if I would have released it two weeks earlier.

Firstly I would like to mention all of the games which will be listed below have been stated to be released in 2017, albeit without a definitive release date.

Secondly, I would just like to point out that these games are what I’m anticipating the most, I hope you’re looking forward to them too, I’m sure you are because we’re all gamers, and we love great games.

Right! I’ve talked enough… to the list!

#15 -Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

Platform(s): PS4, Xbox One, PC
Release date: March 7, 2017

Wildlands is my 15th most anticipated game of the year, I like the look of the game from what we’ve seen so far. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to play the beta. But I’ve seen plenty of game play and I love the option of a silent stealthier approach or all guns blazing. The game look’s like a better Divsion which I’d like to point out isn’t a bad thing. The multiplayer aspect of this game is what will sell copies, and is the main reason why I’m looking forward to this, playing online with my friends. Hopefully the servers can hold up.

#14 – Guardians of the Galaxy – The Telltale series

Platform(s): PS4, Xbox One, PC, IOS, Android
Release date: TBC

Telltale is mostly known for their adaption of The Walking Dead, but it’s their latest game Guardians of The Galaxy that has me excited, Telltale announced a partnership with Marvel for several projects, and with Guardians coming first who knows what the future holds for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Telltale. The release date hasn’t been confirmed as yet but heavy rumours suggest the game will appear around the same time as the film. April 2017.

#13 – Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice

Platform(s): PS4, PC
Release date:

The story is based on Celtic mythology. The game is focused on Senua’s point of view, as she embarks on a very personal journey through a hellish underworld made up of Senua’s psychotic manifestations of her own reality and mind

The game is made by developer Ninja Theory the guys behind DmC: Devil May Cry so its safe to say the can make great games. I like what I’ve seen from the trailers for this game and it’s intruiging. I’m looking forward to it and playing through Senua’s story.

#12 – South Park: The Fractured But Whole

Platform(s): PS4, Xbox One, PC
Release date:

The game has been plagued with delays but that won’t stop me, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is the sequel to 2014’s South Park: The Stick of Truth. Without doubt the most exciting and shocking news from 2016 was the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2, and that it will be arriving on consoles late in 2017.
