Assassin’s Creed: Empire to release in 2017?

The rumored Assassin’s Creed game in development code-named Empire, could well be out in 2017 if one retailer is correct.

Swiss retailer WOG has a product page for Assassins Creed: Empire and mentions that the game will release in Q4 2017. No description of the game or screenshots have been provided, just the potential release date.

Please note that there is nothing to suggest that this information is correct, however in multiple years retailers have often leaked the release dates of games before an official announcement.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise which has released a game every year since 2009 decided they were taking a year off “in order to give the brand a new dimension”

Hopefully Ubisoft, who have been very tight-lipped about Assassin’s Creed will have an answer for us sooner rather than later.
