Microsoft announces new ‘Tech Series’ Controllers

Microsoft recently announced a new series of controllers named the ‘Tech series’ the first controller will be released next month.

The first controller named the Xbox Wireless Controller – Recon Tech Special Edition will be released on April 25, 2017 and will cost $69.99 USD. The brand new controller showcases a dark grey design with a golden diamond grip for added comfort.

The controller has an upgraded wireless range and also supports Bluetooth so you can use the controller for gaming on Windows 10 devices. You can also remap the buttons via the Xbox accessories app.

Finally, a great way you could use this new controller would be through the new Co-pilot mode which will be coming to Xbox One later this year through it’s Creators update. Co-pilot is a mode in which 2 controllers act as one, a smart feature which could benefit children, and those who are having difficulty playing when a friend or parent can jump in.
