Earlier this week EA revealed Battlefront II to the world, the game will feature a lot of improvements, and will also include a single-player campaign.
However, one thing the game will not include is a season pass. Whilst speaking to Mashable Creative director Bernd Diemer said “We don’t have a season pass,” before further teasing that EA is working on “something different” in this area instead.
“I cannot talk about the specifics of this, but we have something different in mind that will allow you to play longer, be [more] invested in the game without having a fragmented community,” he added.
Diemer is referring to that if you didn’t own the season pass for Battlefront, it meant you weren’t able to play with all available players of the game community thus making it harder to find a match. Something EA looks to rectify this time around.
He added that it is “dangerous” for the game’s player base because “the community is falling apart because there are simply not many people playing the different modes”.
Star Wars Battlefront II will launch November 17 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
