Harvest Moon Light of Hope announced for Switch, PC, and PS4

The latest entry in Natsume’s series of farm games will be released on PS4, and will foray into the Switch and PC for the first time ever.

Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume, promises “depth”, a “robust story” and “clear-cut goals”. Maewaka plans for a return to the SNES era with “deep and meaningful characters and events”. Although there’s no estimate for a release date, there will be a playable demo available at E3.

The story revolves around your character, who was caught in the middle of a storm and shipwrecked at a small harbor town. It is up to you to rebuild the town and the light house, but don’t worry there will be plenty of crops and livestock for you to tend in this installment.

What exciting new stories and experiences can a 20 year old development team bring to the table? We can’t wait to find out.
