Destiny 2’s Open Beta Extended

Bungie has officially extended the time for Destiny 2’s open beta for more service on the game. This move was anticipated, considering that Bungie had extended the Beta on the previous title. Whether this will prove to be good or bad news for Destiny 2 is yet to be seen. The beta has been extended till tonight July 25 9 PM EST, so if you are a Destiny Junkie, get your fix in while you still can.

Destiny 2’s open beta launched last Tuesday July 18 for those who pre-ordered the game and become open Friday July 21 for everyone else. Bungie has said the beta has been successful and the feedback from fans has helped prepare for launch. Bungie has made many changes on the game per fan requests and has extended the beta most likely to get some more feedback on the game. Opinions of the game seem to be split between different players, but it seems the game is similar to the first.

Destiny 2 launches on September 6 as one of the most anticipated games of the year, so hopefully Bungie gets it right. Stay tuned for more news on Destiny 2 and anything gaming related here at Sick Critic.

I am a huge sports game fan, if I am not playing 2k or Madden, then I am probably playing the latest big release that week. Someone also needs to bring back the NCAA football series soon, please and thank you.
