Original Journey, a sci-fi adventure game with hand drawn pencil art, was released today. This comes from the publisher Another Indie and Developer Bonfire Entertainment. This will be Bonfire’s first title and will only release on Windows via steam to start. The developer plans on taking the game to Nintendo switch late this year as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One early 2018.
In this game, you assume the role of “The Rookie”, fighting forces of aliens in the strange environment of Planet Shadow. You must fight and platform your way through, killing enemies and picking up loot along the way. If the opposition becomes too fierce, you have turrets, powerful weapons and sidearms to help you defeat the horde. As you complete missions in the game, you gain resources to improve current and create new powerful weapons and mech armor.
In this game, the future of the Ato is at stake and relies on its soldiers to save them. The Origin stone, possessing infinite sources of energy is said to be on Planet Shadow, hidden by natives with much power. With this goal in mind, the Ato attempt to invade the planet hopeful to find the Origin Stone and save their home planet and race.
