The Nintendo Switch is set to receive its final major release of 2017, Xenoblade Chronicles 2. 2017 has been an extraordinary year for Nintendo, and it looks as if the year is going to end on a high note, as reviews have been quite positive, with the title holding an 85 out of 100 on Metacritic.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is an open-world JRPG, and features its own original story you can enjoy, even if it is your first title in the series. In Xenoblade Chronicles 2, civilizations rest on giant continent like titans, but as titans are close to death, you must find a fabled paradise where civilizations can go and live. The last hope is Rex, a scavenger, and Pyra, who is from this fabled paradise. Pyra is also a living weapon known as a blade that can be used in battle. Rex can control a group of blades to help him in each strategic battle, to get closer to finding this fabled land and save the world. On the journey, Rex can explore each titan, which inhabits its own unique wildlife and cultures, for treasure, secrets and new creatures to battle.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2, will also have a season pass with new content being added regularly throughout the next year, including a story expansion set for next fall, the season pass will cost $29.99. A free Japanese voice pack will also be available for players as a day one patch. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 releases on December 1 as a Nintendo Switch exclusive for $59.99.
