Ubisoft announced 2014’s Assassin’s Creed Rogue, released simultaneously as Unity for PS3 and Xbox 360 and a few months later on PC, will be re-released on PS4 and Xbox One on March 20th. This remaster will include graphical upgrades, running at 1080p on PS4 and Xbox One and 4K on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. The remaster will also launch with all DLC add-ons of the original as well as some new additions like two bonus missions titled “The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest” and “The Siege of Fort de Sable” and costume packs, including a Bayek (from the latest game Origins) legacy outfit among other goodies.
Ubisoft Sofia, the studio behind Rogue, will develop the remaster. The price of the remaster is unknown. Hopefully, it will cost a budget price of 40 bucks. For those of you who haven’t played Rogue, the game take place in 18th century Atlantic North America and acts as a sequel to 2013’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and a direct prequel to Unity. The player assumes control of Shay Patrick Cormac, a new recruit of the Colonial Brotherhood of Assassins. While Rogue has not been critically acclaimed, the gameplay is more aligned with Black Flag and the Batman Arkham series.
