At Xbox’s Gamescom Showcase, Devil May Cry 5 has officially been given a release date. Devil May Cry 5 will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on March 8 2019.
Alongside the release date, a brand new gameplay trailer has been released showing off the high-octane action of the game, as well as Dante who literally uses his motorbike as a weapon.
We also got some new details on the game’s narrative and systems in a press release. Nero has enlisted the help of a weapons artist, Nico, to design a number of different Devil breaker arms for him. The first arm is called Overture and allows Nero to shock demons when they are close. The Gerbera Devil Breaker arm can deflect enemy projectiles and grant him new evasion capabilities.
Devil May Cry 5 is being released almost 11 years after Devil May Cry 4 and is being worked on by the director of the original game Hideaki Itsuno.
