Gamescom has brought a ton of new details and information on games. However, a surprising bit of news is that Hollow Knight will be making its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One via Skybound Games. The game will be released in Spring 2019. The news came from a press release.
Hollow Knight is being developed by Team Cherry has been out on PC for over a year, and released in June for Nintendo Switch. The game meshes a gorgeous art style with classic Metroidvania gameplay.
Notably, Skybound Games will also be producing physical copies of the Nintendo Switch version of the game.
Skybound Games have brought a number of indie games to more platforms and retail shelves, such as Slime Rancher and The Long Dark.
Hollow Knight is out now on PC and Nintendo Switch. The game will then launch in Spring 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, alongside a physical release for Nintendo Switch.
