  • Search Supply Drops (3 Required) – 5 Battle Stars
  • SMG eliminations (3 Required) – 10 Battle Stars

Paid Battle Pass Challenges:

  • Deal damage to opponents structures with remote explosives (8,000 Required) – 5 Battle Stars
  • Search a Chest in 5 specific locations (5 Required) – 5 Battle Stars
  • Follow the treasure map found in Dusty Divot (1 Required) – 10 Battle Stars
  • Eliminate Opponents in Lazy Links (3 Required) – 10 Battle Stars

Visit Different Named Locations In A Single Match

This challenge requires you to visit 4 different Named Locations on the map in a single match, such as Pleasant Park, Lazy Links, Loot Lake, and Tilted Towers. This is mostly tedious as it requires a lot of running from one location to the next quickly, in order to beat the storm.

The best mode for this is either 50 v 50 or Soaring 50’s, whichever is available. This almost guarantees that you will be able to visit four different locations without having to worry about enemies, so long as you parachute to a location on your team’s side of the map. The Soaring 50’s mode also allows you to build high staircases, parachuting off, getting you to the next destination faster. Also, be sure to make use of rifts, jump pads, and the new rift-to-go item.

Search Supply Drops

This can be another tedious challenge. Supply Drops are the crates that drop from the sky during the later stages of a match. They spawn within the safe zone. The best mode is once again 50 v 50 or Soaring 50’s. These modes allow you to not worry about enemies too much. However, this mode has a downside. Teammates will likely try to search these supply drops as well.

Therefore, the best option is to find one of these drops as they are parachuting in. Stand by the drop location, cornering it off with buildings and walls. Then, grab it as fast as possible.

There are multiple drops in a match, so be sure to continuously look up in the air for new drops.

SMG Eliminations

This one is easy. Simply, find an SMG and kill three enemies. This does not have to be done in one match.

Deal Damage To Opponents Structures With Remote Explosives

This challenge may sound like a slog; however, it is surprisingly quick to complete. Large staircases and structures are the best to destroy with remote explosives, as they contribute a lot towards this challenge. Therefore, the Soaring 50’s and 50 v 50 modes are the best choices. They lessen your chance of dying as you have teammates to support you. They also are less stressful, as you will not have to worry about enemies until you get near the safe zone.

As a note, the challenge will not update in-game until you die, so do not worry if you destroy something and the challenge does not update immediately.

Search A Chest In 5 Specific Locations

This is a challenge that is split into five stages. Each stage will give you one Battle Star, totaling five Battle Stars upon completion of all five stages. There five locations you have to search a chest in are in this order:

  • Pleasant Park – Sector C3
  • Retail Row – Sector H6
  • Lucky Landing – Sector F10
  • Greasy Grove – Sector C7
  • Paradise Palms – Sector I8

This will likely have to be done over 5 different matches as reaching two of these locations in the same match is barely feasible. Chests can be found in a variety of places. They can be in the attics and basements of houses, in garages, behind storefronts, behind walls, and in trucks.

Follow The Treasure Map Found In Dusty Divot

This weeks treasure map can be found in Dusty Divot; however, you do not have to visit it. Instead, you can head straight to the Battle Star’s location. That location is just north of Dusty Divot, as shown below in the circle.

The star is found just north of Dusty Divot

After landing, look in between the three trees and you will find the star. Interact with it to complete the challenge.

The Star can be found in-between the three trees

If you have gotten all of the battle stars of season 5 so far, you will also unlock a brand new Roadtrip skin.

Eliminate Opponents In Lazy Links

The final challenge is to eliminate three opponents in Lazy Links. Lazy Links can be found in the north of the map in Sector F2 and F3.

Lazy Links is just north of Loot Lake

This easiest mode to complete this challenge in is Solos. This increases the likelihood of enemies parachuting into Lazy Links alongside you. The best strategy is to spot a weapon in the air, grab it as fast as possible, and try to kill anyone who comes close to you. You will likely die due to the sheer amount of enemies that also parachute to Lazy Links. But, if you do this long enough you will eventually rack up the kills.

That covers all of the challenges for Season 5 Week 7 of Fortnite.

Battle Royale games and multiplayer experiences like Fortnite are the trends of 2018. This is why one of our writers, Brandon Pero, asks “Does Single Player have a future?
