The fourth game in the legendary SEGA beat ’em up series Streets of Rage has officially been unveiled. Streets of Rage 4 is being developed by Lizardcube, who made Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. Co-developing the game is Guard Crush Games, developers of Streets of Fury. Finally, the game is being published by Dotemu, who have published Windjammers and the Ys series. SEGA does not look to be involved in the project’s development.
The announcement came as a shock to the system, as it has been 24 years since Streets of Rage 3 was released. A reveal trailer for the game has also been released, which is below.
No release date has been given, and we do not know what platforms the game is being developed for.
