Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Trailer Brings the Horror

The Sonic the Hedgehog movie has been teased for a while, with several images leaking online over the past few months. The Internet hasn’t been kind to the CGI rendition of Sonic, who looked even eerier than most anthropomorphic characters tend to look. Paramount Pictures dropped the first official trailer for the Sonic movie, which you can view below to see if he’s as bad as people claim.

Holy hell. After that trailer, fans’ fears sadly cannot be laid to rest. Sonic is honestly way creepier in motion than in the stills we were subjected to. I think the most redeeming thing about the film is Jim Carrey’s return to form as Dr. Robotnik. Everything else is cliche, bland, and hilariously bad, to the point that it physically pains me to watch. Any hot takes on the Sonic the Hedgehog movie? Sound off in the comments with your impressions of Sonic’s live-action debut, coming this November.
