Luigi’s Mansion 3 Release Date Leaked

Amazon Mexico has been such a great friend to the gaming industry, and now it’s potentially leaked the release date for Luigi’s Mansion 3. It’s supposedly scheduled for October 4. It should be clarified that this is a leak and not an official announcement.

One of the most anticipated games of 2019, Luigi’s Mansion 3 features everyone’s favorite overshadowed brother fearfully making his way through a haunted hotel defeating ghosts and just trying to survive. We somehow got past E3 without any mention of the release date, but Amazon Mexico always provides. Amazon Mexico has a reputation for leaking release dates and other information via their product pages. That seems to be what’s happened here. They also sent out emails confirming purchases of the game and including the new release date. Other news outlets have mentioned how October 4 is a Friday, the usual day of the week to release an anticipated, upcoming title.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Gooigi

People have wanted a sequel to Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon ever since its release in 2013. It was received quite well and considered innovative and visually impressive. From what we’ve seen, this addition will be even more so, and it’s sure to be considered one of the best games to come out of 2019.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 was first announced in a Nintendo Direct on September 13, 2018, and each time we hear more info, we get more excited. The addition of Gooigi is probably the most significant tidbit we’ve heard from Nintendo since then. Gooigi will act as a second character used for solving puzzles and potential co-op play. This feature was able to be experimented with at E3 this year. Sick Critic had the opportunity of being at E3 2019, and we tried out Luigi’s Mansion 3, so if you want more info on what the game will play like, check out our roundup of the E3 show floor.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be releasing exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
