Screenshots of PvZ: Garden Warfare 3 Leaked

It’s no secret that a new Garden Warfare game is on the way. EA confirmed the development of a new Plants Vs. Zombies game which was later backed up by PvZ’s official Twitter back in February earlier this year. There’s also a well-documented closed alpha currently underway and one sneaky player decided to share a few screenshots from this alpha.

Three screenshots were recently leaked on Reddit via a throwaway account. The pictures have since been deleted by the user but the screenshots are already out in the wild for anyone to see. In fact, you can check them all out below:

Perhaps the most noteworthy bit of info that can be gleaned from these screenshots is the pumped-up character roster, which brings each side’s total playable characters up to 10. Newbies seemingly include an acorn, a snapdragon and a nightcap/mushroom who rep the plant’s team. On the flip side, the zombie’s gained a disco dancer, a Kurt Russel look-alike and the rosters first female zombie.

The final screenshot shows off a large-scale map littered with points of interest. The increased scope of the battlefield could either point to a larger player count or, given recent trends, Garden Warfare 3 could be getting a Battle Royale mode. This is all just speculation of course, but who doesn’t want to be the last sunflower standing after a long battle against a wacky zombie hoard?

With Plants vs. Zombies 3 being recently announced and the franchise celebrating its 10th anniversary, now is the perfect time to drop some new info on Garden Warfare 3. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for the game’s official announcement at Gamescom later this month.
