Untitled Goose Game Tops Sales Charts, Xbox and PS4 Versions Confirmed

Untitled Goose Game is a brief indie outing that lets you pester townsfolk as a horrible goose. Such a simple premise, yet this delightful game (and its titular goose) has captured the hearts of millions, and it’s smashing sales charts in the process. At the time of writing, Untitled Goose Game is currently sitting proudly at the top of the Nintendo eShop’s charts, even muscling out The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for the number 1 spot. The game’s publisher expressed his delight about the news in a recent tweet:

The runaway success of the game has prompted House House, the game developer’s, to bring Untitled Goose Game to both the PS4 and the Xbox One – now even more players will get to experience the thrill of sneaking around a gardener, stealing his rake and chucking it in a pond. No official dates for PS4 or Xbox One versions have been provided yet, but the game’s official FAQ webpage informs us that they are indeed working on bringing the goose to home consoles.

Die-hard PC players may also be pleased to hear that game will be heading to Steam sometime in late 2020 after a stint of exclusivity on the Epic Play Store.

When Twitter asked if the goose would ever grace mobile platforms the game’s publisher responded, saying that there is an interest in porting the game to mobile devices, but only if its a good fit for touch controls.

Charming and hilarious, Untitled Goose Game is a delightful experience. It’s wonderful to hear that this goose is spreading its wings and heading out to other consoles so more people will get an opportunity to play this little gem.
