Less than a week after we got a look at the newest Pokémon being introduced to Pokémon Sword and Shield, the game’s official Twitter account posted a Tweet announcing that more information about Game Freak’s upcoming title will be available at 6:00 AM PDT/9:00 AM EST on October 16.
This will likely be the last time we get an event like this scheduled to tell us more about the game prior to its release, and it’s safe to say that a lot of Pokémon fans will be excited about this one. With only a month to go until the game releases on November 15, this will likely serve as a final roundup of the features, gyms, Pokémon, and characters that we can expect from the game.
Of course, anything new coming to Pokémon will generally put the game in the right direction compared to some of the decisions that have already been made. Many fans haven’t been too happy with what they’ve seen so far, including simplistic animations, a gaping hole left where a ton of Pokémon were, and an inability to transfer different Pokémon that aren’t already in the game.
These issues have had some fans up in arms since E3 2019, and now it will all come to a head once we see the final product. It will be interesting to see how the game holds up compared to its predecessors. After all, people have been waiting for the next main entry in the series for three years. It’s time to see the fruits of Game Freak’s labor.
