Back in September, we learned that Fatal Fury’s Terry Bogard would be the next DLC fighter to join the roster of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The wait to see him in action is nearly over as a Tweet from Nintendo VS announced that Mr. Sakurai would be doing another one of his character livestreams entirely dedicated to showing Terry off.
The presentation goes live at 5 pm PT, on November 6 and if you need a place to watch it live, you can do it here:
Sakurai’s presentation will feature an extended showcase of Terry’s moveset, plus some information about his unique stage and some of the accompanying music tracks from the Fatal Fury series. Terry will go live with the new Ver. 6.0 update which will also be discussed in the video – get ready for some balance tweaks and remember to save your replays.
The most surprising part about this presentation announcement though is its length: 45 minutes. For reference, Banjo’s character livestream in September was only 25 minutes long, and in it, Sakurai revealed that the Home-Run Contest would be the last game mode added to the game. In a separate Tweet, Nintendo VS also confirmed that “During this livestream, there are no announcements regarding any unrevealed fighters.” So with no new game modes or characters to unveil we can only dream about what Sakurai will discuss tomorrow to fill the time but we’ll undoubtedly we’ll get some info on upcoming Amiibos and Mii Costumes to round off the presentation.
Speaking of Mii Fighter Costumes, a tasty leak surfaced on 4chan regarding some new outfits. Keep your hype levels in check though, this is more than likely a fake.
A semi-blurring photo shows off Mii Fighters wearing a Mallow hat from Super Mario RPG plus a Cacodemon hat from DOOM. Fake or not, it’s always fun to see how much truth is in these leaks – guess we’ll find out tomorrow.
