We take our reviews very seriously here at Sick Critic. As a publication, we feel that reflecting and honest and objective opinion on upcoming titles is essential for developing trust between our viewers moving forward. Unfortunately, not every release is worth your time and money, and we aim to provide the most professional reviews possible so that you do not make that mistake. These are our standards and guidelines for our personal rating system and the correlating symbols for each. These will be shown at the top of every Game

 

Abysmal


Abysmal is the score we give to a Game/Movie totaling (1.0-2.5). To put it simply… there is no saving this game.

 

Meh


Meh is the score we give to a Game totaling (3.0-4.5). This game has some qualities of a decemt game, but lacks the major factors to be considered average. Serious flaws in design, mechanics, graphics, sound and story hinder these title’s from being recommended to our viewers.

 

Sick


Sick is the score we give to a Game totaling (5.0-6.5). This game has the qualities to be considered an good game. It has noticeable flaws but do not impact the game enough to break it. This is a game we would recommend to buy when it is discounted.

 

ILL


Ill is the score we give to a game totaling (7.0-8.5). This game has almost all the qualities of a hit title. Extremely enjoyable to play. Some minor flaws in design, story, graphics or mechanics are holding it back to truly becoming perfect. We highly recommend any game with this rating.

 

Viral


Viral is the score we give to a game totaling (9.0-10). This score is reserved for the best of the best. Little to no flaws in any aspect of the game. High replay value. Title’s that receive a Viral score on Sick Critic have some how changed their respective genre in some form or fashion. We recommend any game that receives our top moniker.
