The Lost Legacy: Chloe Deserves Your Attention

First off, look at Naughty Dog’s (developer of the Uncharted series), track record ever since 2007 when the first Uncharted launched close to ten years ago. They have developed five games all to critical acclaim and commercial success, with the lowest rated game on metacritic being Uncharted Drakes Fortune, the first game in the series. Sitting at an 88 metascore, which is quite high and signals very positive reviews, it leaves little doubt that Naughty Dog will provide another smashing hit for this IP. The other game outside of the Uncharted series is not only a damn good game, but it is considered one of the best games ever made, (The Last of Us), and really shows how talented Naughty Dog is.

The Lost Legacy is not just a small single player DLC that you can beat in one sitting, the Creative Director of The Lost Legacy, Shaun Escayg, said in an interview with the Verge,”It’s longer than some previous Uncharted games, and not as long as Uncharted 4,”. Which proves this is a game worthy of a full retail release and worth your full attention. This shows the game can be anywhere from 8 to 14 hours long, which is just as long if not longer than similar games outside the series.

You also get to play as Chloe Frazer, who is one of my favorite characters in the series and a huge fan favorite of the series. It will be an odd feeling playing an Uncharted game without Nathan Drake, but since he is no longer treasure hunting, Chloe Frazer is on the short list of characters that people want to play as, and a refreshing change of pace for the series. She also teams up with Nadine Ross who is a complete badass and a very polarizing character. Fans of the series should be very excited to see more of this tag team and the adventures they will endure. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a full and complete Uncharted experience that should surprise fans expecting different.

Uncharted The Lost Legacy deserves your attention when it launches on PS4 on August 22 for $39.99.
