Destiny 2 Officially Revealed Alongside Special Editions

We all knew it was coming, and now it’s here: Activison and Bungie have pulled back the curtain on the sequel to 2014’s Destiny. Below is the reveal trailer, courtesy of IGN:

As stated in the video the Cabal, an antagonistic alien faction featured in the original Destiny, have raided our homeworld hub known as The Tower. With all Guardians’ possessions destroyed, players must either reclaim all that was lost or finally face ultimate defeat.</p><p>The Limited Edition’s contents are as follows:</p><ul><li><em>Destiny 2</em></li><li>Expansions I and II</li><li>Legendary sword</li><li>Legendary emote</li><li>Cabal <em>‘Empire’</em> emblem</li><li>Steelbook case</li><li>Collector’s box containing schematics, postcards, Cabal pawns and more</li></ul><p>The Collector’s Edition will feature:</p><ul><li>Everything contained in the above Limited Edition</li><li>Frontier physical bag (includes 15″ laptop sleeve)</li><li>Frontier physical kit (includes paracord, solar-powered blanket & USB charger)</li></ul><p>If you preorder <em>Destiny 2</em> you’ll receive early access to a summertime beta.
