Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that Divinity Original Sin 2, the award-winning BAFTA nominated role-playing game from Larian Studios, will get a port to the Xbox One® and PlayStation®4 in August 2018.
The console version of this sandbox RPG will include “a user interface tailored for console play in both four-player online co-op and two-player split-screen co-op modes.”, according to a statement released by Bandai Namco. Additional content updates and features will be announced prior to the launch of the console port of Divinity Original Sin 2.
“This is an incredible opportunity for us to work with Larian Studios who has already shown its talented work through the previous games” said Hervé Hoerdt, Vice President of Marketing & Digital at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Europe.
“We are extremely pleased to bring this outstanding title to our lineup by offering new epic adventures to console gamers with the deepest RPG worlds ever created”
After a highly successful Kickstarter campaign raising over 2 million dollars from 40,000 backers back in August 2016, Divinity Original Sin 2 has come full circle. Look forward to getting your hands on the game around August 2018.
