This information comes from whatsonnetflix, who reported that the first two seasons of the blue blur’s 2003 anime will be available soon.
Sonic X is largely based on the Sonic Adventure games, adopting a similar art-style, soundtrack and “dude-bro” attitude. It focuses more on the action and newer characters brought to the spotlight in the adventure games, in an attempt to appeal to a slightly older audience.
Undoubtedly, Sonic X is also being brought to the massive streaming platform in an attempt to bolster excitement for the Sonic The Hedgehog movie that’s coming in February 2020. Originally it was supposed to come in late 2019, but after an overwhelmingly large negative response to Sonic’s design, the film studio changed his appearance altogether to make him more loyal to the games.
Whether that was a good decision or not remains to be seen, but at least now fans seem more willing to give the live-action adaptation a chance. Regardless, you can still sit back, get a chili dog and stream Sonic X on December 1.
