Hi-Rez Studios, the developer behind Smite, Paladins, and Realm Royale, has split into three separate studios. Each studio will focus on one of the three games in Hi-Rez Studios’ portfolio. Titan Forge Games will work on Smite, Evil Mojo Games will develop Paladins, and Heroic Leap Games will continue to work on Realm Royale.
The news came from Gameindustry.biz who interviewed Chris Larson, the man in charge of overseeing the three teams. Chris Larson states that this separation allows “each of our development teams to fulfill their maximum potential and stay hyper focused on serving their individual player communities. Each of these studios is also hiring additional staff to keep up with demand and increase content output.
This decision “is designed to help the company as it increases publishing services for external teams.”
