HITMAN 2 Remasters First Game’s Content

Warner Bros. Games and IO Interactive announced today the ‘World of Assassination’ initiative for HITMAN 2. This initiative remasters and updates all of the locations and mission that are in the first season of HITMAN. A trailer was released for this initiative; however, a press release revealed even more information.

Known as the HITMAN Legacy Pack, this DLC pack includes all six locations from the first game: Paris, Sapienza, Marrakesh, Bangkok, Colorado, and Hokkaido. These areas have been remastered and will incorporate new features from HITMAN 2.

Some of those features include a new progression system, improved fidelity when hiding in crowds and foliage, picture-in-picture mode, strategic use of mirrors, improved combat A.I., new gameplay items like a dart gun and briefcase, new difficulty levels, and even more.

As well as that, this initiative will fully transform HITMAN 2 into a live service, providing new content, updates and maps for the new Sniper Assassin mode.

Owners of the previous HITMAN game will be able to download the HITMAN Legacy Pack for free. New players can purchase this pack, although the price is not yet known.
