Xbox Series X Finally Has a Release Date and Price Point

Xbox Series X Price

Microsoft has priced the Xbox Series X at $499 as the final retail price. The pricing is what has been expected, but there is also a financing option available through their Xbox All Access program. If you pick Xbox Series X, you will also receive 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play Membership for $34.99 a month for 24 months. A similar option is available for the Xbox Series S, including both the Xbox and EA memberships, and is priced at $24.99 for 24 months. Pre-orders for the next-gen Xbox consoles will go up on September 22 and will surely sell out fast; a specific time hasn’t been announced, so keep an eye out for news on that.

Both memberships include access to games on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and even mobile devices. These financing options should bring in additional consumers who might be put off by the upfront costs of a new console. Microsoft seems to be banking on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as the core factor in their Xbox brand’s success this generation.
