Star Wars Episode IX costumes revealed

Over the course of the trilogies, both Anakin and Luke Skywalker undergo costume changes, to signify their progression along the Jedi way, and darker clothes suggest a potential flirtation with the Dark Side of the Force. Our newest protagonists are no different, as we found out earlier today.

While it was revealed previously that Battlefront II would have no season pass, nothing has been said about pre-order bonuses, until now. Both Kylo Ren and Rey’s costumes for Star Wars Episode IX: The Last Jedi were leaked earlier, through a Battlefront II promotional poster. Should you pre-order the upcoming game, you’re gifted with The Last Jedi-themed costumes for both of these characters.

Although publisher EA had revealed that players would be seeing newer costumes for these individuals, they’ve kept their cards close to their chest so far. However, Gamestop Ireland has released the full images of both characters. The Tweet has since been deleted.

Rey’s clothing looks more Jedi-esque, but has taken a notably darker tone. Kylo Ren on the other hand, has ditched his hooded cloak for a more aerodynamic, hoodless version.

What do you think? Do you welcome these changes? Let us know!

Star Wars: Battlefront II releases on the 17th November 2017, with Star Wars: The Last Jedi following a month later, on the 15th December.
